16 Years to 80 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged from 16 to 80 years; 2. Unilateral or bilateral multiple rib fractures confirmed by three-dimensional CT; number of fractured ribs>=4, number of completely dislocated fractured ribs>=2; 3. with hemothorax or pneumothorax; 4. patients with complete case history and able to finish follow-up.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Combined with craniocerebral trauma with disturbance of consciousness,mechanical ventilation or follow-up affected by central nervous system; 2. Unable to perform anesthesia due to cardiopulmonary insufficiency; 3. Combined with severe cervical spine injury with respiratory insufficiency; 4. History of thoracic malformation, liver and kidney dysfunction, cerebrovascular and hemorrhagic diseases; 5. Incomplete case data and follow-up; 6. Patients refused to be enrolled.
