Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Aged at least 18 years, male or female; (2) Exceeding cutoff values on the Chinese version of Social Phobia Scale (SPS; Cutoff > 26) or the Social Interaction Anxiety Scale (SIAS; Cutoff >33) or having a SAD diagnosis according to the Chinese version of the Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview(MINI); (3) Smartphone and computer literacy and good access to Internet during the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Comorbid diagnoses besides anxiety disorders, major depression and/or dysthymia on MINI; (2) Medium or high reported risk of suicide; (3) Taking psychiatric medications in the past year; (4) Receiving psychological treatment in the past 6 months.
