Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Consecutive women older than 18 years of age undergoing elective CS (cesarean delivery schedule in ahead for indications including scarred uterus, placenta previa, etc.) were enrolled in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) a previous history of bowel surgery; (2) inflammatory bowel disease; (3) any systemic disease, such as diabetes mellitus or gestational hypertension or hyperglycemia; (4) with a cardiac pacemaker; (5) having surgical complications, including hysterectomy and postpartum hemorrhage (>1000 ml); (6) allergic to skin preparation; (7) familiar with the functions and positions of acupoints.
