Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Confirmed as meeting the diagnostic criteria for first-ever posterior circulation ischemic stroke issued by Chinese expert group on posterior circulation ischemia in 2006; 2. Transcranial doppler indicated vertebral basilar artery stenosis; 3. Stroke duration over 2 weeks; 4. Aged 40 to 75 years; 5. Voluntary participation and informed consent signed;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Hemorrhagic stroke; 2. Vertebral artery stenosis rate > 70%; 3. Critical illnesses that require operation; 4. Severe heart heart, liver, or kidney diseases, severe hematopoietic system conditions; 5. Infectious disease or skin disease; 6. Oversensitivity to acupuncture; 7. Pregnancy or lactation; 8. Inability to cooperate with the treatment; 9. Participation in another current clinical trial.
