Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) pre-menopausal women aged above 18 years? old; (2) understand oral and written Chinese; (3) physically capable of simple body movements.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) women who have taken oral contraceptives/metformin /insulin-sensitizing treatment, or received pharmacotherapy for dyslipidemia, hypertension, or diabetes/impaired glucose tolerance, or hormonal therapy in the past 4 week; (2) patients currently suffering from other genetic or endocrine diseases, or neuropsychiatric disorders that require psychotropic substances (such as antipsychotics, antidepressants, or anticonvulsants); (3) pregnant women and women who plan for pregnancy within the intervention period; (4) patients who have taken part in other similar intervention programs in the past three months, or are currently on other exercise training programs or weight loss programs; (5) considering the association between nicotine and cortisol levels, which shows the stress level, women who smoke on average five or more cigarettes per day are excluded.
