Interventions

Electroacupuncture at zusanli +routine standard postoperative care group:Electroacupuncture at zusanli is given for 30 minutes once a day and will totally last 4 days from the first day after surgery.
Electroacupuncture at tianshu +routine standard postoperative care group:Electroacupuncture at tianshu is given for 30 minutes once a day and will totally last 4 days from the first day after surgery.
No acupuncture group(Control group):Routine standard postoperative care

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged above 18 years, male or female; 2. Laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery was performed; 3. Abdominal surgery was performed for the first time; 4. American Society of Anesthesiologists(ASA) grading I–III. 5. Willing to sign written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Need to be synchronized with other surgeries; 2. Go from laparoscopy to open surgery; 3. Intraoperative and postoperative complications requiring intensive care; 4. Taking drugs such as Chinese herbs, vitamins or iron sulfates which affect bowel function within a month; 5. Acupuncture within a month; 6. Having pacemakers; 7. History of syncope or epilepsy; 8. Epidural anesthesia in surgery; 9. Participated in other clinical studies within the last 3 months.
