Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients undergoing elective minimally invasive radical esophagectomy. 2. Patients sign informed consent voluntarily. 3. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Physical Status II, III.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with severe cardiopulmonary dysfunction. 2. Patients with dementia, cerebral infarction, or other cerebrovascular diseases. 3. Patients have cognitive impairment, or the MMSE score is lower than the lowest score of the corresponding education level [Primary school < 20 points, secondary school (including technical secondary school) < 22 points, university (including junior college) < 24 points]. 4. Using psychotropic drugs or other drugs that interfere the evaluation of cognitive function before surgery. 5. Patients with serious problem in hearing and understanding, or who are unable to cooperate and provide informed consent. 6. Patients have head skin injury which preclude the attachment of electrodes.
