Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All PARDS patients meeting PALICC criteria will be included. According to PALICC, the minimum positive end-expiratory pressure of 5cmH2O is a necessary condition for inclusion: 1. Patients with any type of cardiopulmonary comorbidity that meets PALICC criteria for specific populations (cyanotic heart disease, chronic lung disease, and left ventricular failure) will also be included; 2. Corrected and uncorrected congenital heart disease can be included as long as PALICC criteria are met; 3. Patients who have given up resuscitation or died from brain stem injuries will also be included to calculate the prevalence rate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Preterm infants younger than 33 weeks of age and those with perinatal lung disease, who may not exhibit the same pathophysiological processes as PARDS, will be excluded; 2. Patients with high flow nasal catheter ventilation will also be excluded.
