Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Had a diagnosis of progressive keratoconus; 2. an axial topography pattern consistent with keratoconus, maximum keratometry 47.0 diopters (D) or more on corneal topography, corneal thickness 300 mm or more as measured using OCT. Manifest cylinder increases 1D or more, or increases 0.5D or more manifest refraction spherical equivalent MRSE; 3. All eyes with no history of ocular disease, trauma or surgery.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of eye surgery, trauma, other corneal history, family history of glaucoma, etc.; 2. Patients with rigid corneal contact lens contraindications; 3. Corneal pachymetry less than 300 mm; 4. With a history of corneal disease that would interfere with healing after the procedure, such as chemical injury or delayed epithelial healing in the past; 5. Patients who were pregnant or lactating during the course of the study.
