Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. acute, distal clavicle fractures (type II) determined according to the classification described by Neer classification; 2. no more than 14 days of trauma; 3. signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Multiple fractures; 2. Fracture lines extended to humeral shaft or combined with dislocation; 3. history of distal clavicle fractures or other shoulder trauma; 4. previous surgery on the shoulder; 5. Open fractures; Pathological fractures; 6. Data were incomplete.
