Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with ketoacidosis, symptomatic heart failure, malignant disease in the previous 10 years, liver cirrhosis, hypertension, drug fatty liver disease,hepatic and renal failure, or other known major diseases.
