Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Gene susceptibility study: Patients diagnosed with IBD; 2. EEN treatment study: Active CD patients are recruited in this study (aged 18-55 yrs, Montreal classification L1/L3). Elemental diet infusion is administrated for three months. The side-effects are observed including fever, respiratory difficulties, itching, urticaria and other allergic reactions. The CDAI is less than 150 or decreases more than 70, the response to EEN is marked. Otherwise, the CDAI is increased or not changed, the failure is considered.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: non-IBD patients, Infectious diseases, Old people, Pregnancy, Presence of abdominal abscess, perforation, intestinal obstruction.
