Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. patients younger than 18 years; 2. patients who were not candidates for endoscopic biopsy; 3. patients after gastrectomy; 4. patients who were administered proton pump inhibitors, antibiotics, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs within 2 weeks of the procedure; 5. patients with cirrhotic portal hypertension or other conditions that may affect the diagnosis of H. pylori gastritis.
