Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients are suffering chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps combined with asthma; patients' aged 18 to 60 years; Diagnosis of asthma should be in accordance with the Diagnostic Guidelines for Asthma of the Chinese Medical Association of Respiratory Diseases (2016 edition) Guidelines for the diagnosis of adult asthma.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Lactation or pregnancy woman; significant psychological problems; unable to comply with study protocol; systemic diseases that affect the nose (e.g., Wegener granulomatosis, sarcoid, primary ciliary dyskinesia, cystic fibrosis, and acute upper or lower respiratory tract infections within 2 weeks before the inclusion visit) and use of specific medications (oral or local corticosteroids; antihistamines; leukotriene receptor antagonist; nasal rinsing; and antibiotics) within 4 weeks before the inclusion visit; Patients who had undergone surgical treatments (nasal and sinus surgery) that could affect the study were excluded.
