Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The investigation included patients aged 18–70 years with American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) score I-II, who were scheduled to undergo elective mediastinal mass resection with a median sternotomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients were excluded from the study if they had impaired bleeding diathesis, a mental disorder, allergy to the drugs used, renal failure patients, infection in the area where the block was to be applied, body mass index (BMI) >35 kg/m2, or inability to communicate
