Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 20 to 80 years; 2. hemiparesis of 1-6 months duration after unilateral, supratentorial, ischemic, or hemorrhage stroke; 3. ability to ambulate 10 meters with or without using a walking stick; 4. are not receiving any other therapies targeting balance and walking.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. having cardiovascular, orthopedic, metabolic or neurological conditions that affect gait and balance; 2. size limitations for AiWalker training system; 3. having received botulinum toxin therapy in the lower limbs within 6 months prior to this study; 4. having cognitive problems (MMSE<24) and being unable to follow instructions; 5. living too far away from the hospital (where the study is conducted) and unable to participate in the assessment at 8-week follow-up.
