Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Man or women aged 18-65 years; 2. Body mass index (BMI)of 25.0 to 35.0 kg/m2; 3. Confirmed diagnosis of NAFLD according to the 2018 Chinese Guidelines for Prevention and Treatment of NAFLD: (1) evidence of hepatic steatosis by either imaging or histology; (2) no significant (or excessive) alcohol consumption: alcohol consumption =7 mmol/L, or 2-h OGTT glucose >=11.1 mmol/L; 5. Confirmed diagnosis of Grade I hypertension according to the 2018 Chinese Guidelines for Prevention and Treatment of Hypertension: BP 140-159mmHg and/or DBP 90-99mmHg.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with medicine for treatment of T2D or hypertention during the study; 2. Patients with typical symptoms of diabetes, or fasting glucose >=15mmol/L, or diabetes complications 3. Patients with type 1 diabetes; 4. Patients with secondary hypertension; 5. Patients with secondary obesity; 6. Patients with severe diseases or complications; 7. Patients who are unwiling to comply with the treatment.
