18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged from 18 to 80 years; 2. Cirrhosis diagnosed by biopsy or imaging, ultrasound and instantaneous elastic imaging of liver; 3. Subclinical portal hypertension; 4. HVPG from 5 to 10.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Decompensated events (bleeding, ascitic fluid, history of liver and brain, liver cancer); 2. Esophageal and gastric fundus varicose veins; 3. Liver and kidney insufficiency; 4. Venous thrombus; 5. Patients with baseline bilirubin > 3 mg/dL, or platelet 2.7, renal failure (creatinine > 2mg/dL), life expectancy less than 12 months, patients with beta blocker allergy or taboo use, anticoagulant therapy, antihepatitis C therapy, pregnancy, lactation.
