43 Years to 80 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma; (2) the depth of tumor invasion no more than T3; (3) LN metastasis no more than N1; (4) physical condition that was tolerable for minimally invasive esophagectomy (MIE).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) The patients were unable to undergo thoracoscopic surgery due to severe pleural adhesion; (2) The patients were unable to tolerate thoracoscopic surgery because of severe cardiopulmonary, hepatic or renal insufficiency; (3) Preoperative imaging evaluation showed that the depth of tumor invasion reached stage T4, or lymph node metastasis reached stage N2 or above.
