Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Elderly patients undergoing elective non-cardiac surgery ; 2. Aged >= 65 years; 3. ASA >= III.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients refused; 2. Patients with atrial fibrillation or non-sinus rhythm; 3. TEE contraindications: including esophageal obstruction or stenosis, esophageal lesions;esophageal tears and perforations; esophageal diverticulum; esophageal hiatal hernia; congenital esophageal malformations; shortly after esophageal surgery; active upper gastrointestinal bleeding; 4. Patients unable to perform transthoracic echocardiography.
