18 Years to 40 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Aged 18-40 years, with a full-term ( >37-weeks gestation) singleton pregnancy, ASA score II, and undergoing an elective CD.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for the study were as follows: allergy to phenylephrine, preexisting or pregnancy-induced hypertension, preeclampsia, cardiovascular or cerebrovascular disease, fetal distress or fetal abnormalities, multiple gestations, patient refusal.
