18 Years to 60 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18-60 years old; 2. At least 20 teeth are present; 3. At least one site in each quadrant of the mouth has a depth of detection >=5mm.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant or lactating women; 2. Bad habits such as smoking and/or drinking; 3. Use antibiotics, steroids or anti-inflammatory drugs in the last 3 months; 4. Relevant periodontal treatment in the last 6 months; 5. Suffering from systemic diseases that may affect the progression of periodontitis, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease or blood diseases.
