Case series:Cochlear implantation and Intraoperative ECochG monitoring

Eligibility

Sex/Gender

All

Age

18 Years to 85 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult with postlingual deafness; 2. Conventional CI inclusion criteria; 3. Measurable hearing in the ear to be implanted: 80dB or better at 500Hz.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Not appropriate for cochlear implant; 2. With additional anatomical abnormalities that may prevent insertion of electrode array; 3. With additional handicap that would prevent study procedures being followed
