Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. understand and have signed the informed consent; 2. male or female age 18 years or older; 3. diagnosis as Rockwood III-VI Acute Acromioclavicular Dislocation and recommended for operative fixation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. diagnosis as Rockwood I or II Acute Acromioclavicular Dislocation; 2. concomitant injury such as fracture of the shoulder; 3. nerve pathology; 4. mental inability to take part in rehabilitation; 5. previous acromioclavicular surgery.
