18 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Endotracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation are required for at least 24 hours. The first spontaneous breathing trial (SBT) can be performed.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Aged less than 18 years; pleural effusion drainage before the first spontaneous breathing test; pregnancy or lactation; refusal to re-intubate the trachea; refusal of family members to participate in the study.
