Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. patients were diagnosed with DDH including acetabular dysplasia, hip subluxation or hip dislocation; 2. all the patients were received CR with following spica cast immobilization; 3. patients and their radiographic data were followed for at least 24 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. the hip dislocation was associated with a syndrome or other congenital hip abnormality; 2. patients with history of open reduction before initial CR; 3. the follow-up after CR was less than 24 months; 4. patients with incomplete clinical and radiographic data at presentation.
