Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Pediatric patients weighing 15~40 kg and between 48 and 96 months of age, ASA physical status I or II, who underwent elective laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair between May 2018 and February 2019. All patients had tonsillar hypertrophy I or II degree.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were an abnormal airway anatomy, a history of previous difficult intubation, risk of aspiration such as gastroesophageal reflux disease, chronic respiratory disease and a history of an upper respiratory tract infection.
