Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Chronic or subacute course, with ocular symptoms such as eye redness, itching and foreign body sensation; 2. Cylindrical dandruffs are found at the root of eyelashes.3. Demodex positive through epilating the eyelash.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) history of ocular surgery or trauma; (2) presence of ocular infection or inflammation; (3) eyelid tructural abnormalities affecting lid function; (4) systemic diseases affecting ocular surface such as Sjogrens syndrome; (5) Lacrimal embolus implantation or lacrimal ductoplasty within 3 months prior to commencement of the study; (6) pregnancy or lactating mother.
