Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. positivity for EGFR mutation (19 exon deletion or 21 exon L858R, detected by amplification refractory mutation system, differential display-polymerase chain reaction, or next generation sequencing); 2. recipience of the first-generation EGFR-TKIs (Gefitinib, Erlotinib, and Icotinib, according to Chinese Food and Drug Administration approval) for >=2 years before the initiation of the study; 3. availability of a series of brain enhanced-MRI data (every 6 months) during follow-up in our hospital.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. presence of neurological or psychiatric diseases; 2. presence of comorbidities that might influence the patients brain structure (type 2 diabetes, hypertension, chronic kidney disease, etc.); 3. identification of brain metastases during MRI scan at baseline or anytime during the evaluation period; d) history of chronic alcohol or narcotic (e.g., morphine) use; 4. Received any other systematic therapy, including chemotherapy, anti-angiogenetic therapy, or immune-therapy.
