Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) All patients were older than 18 years old, both male and female; (2) All patients were dialysis patients, who underwent peritoneal dialysis or hemodialysis for more than 6 months; (3) All patients complicated with secondary hyperparathyroidism were treated conservatively for 3-6 months, but PTH > 800 pg/L; (4) Before treatment, B-mode ultrasonography or CT examination showed that parathyroid gland enlargement (volume > 500 mm3 or length > 1 cm) was present; (5) Abnormal bone metabolism (blood calcium > 2.5 mmol/L, blood phosphorus > 1.8 mmol/l, ectopic calcification).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. The presence of ectopic parathyroid glands was indicated by imaging or radionuclide scanning; 2. Patients with malignant tumors; 3. Pregnant patients.
