Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who are admitted to the ICU during (Study period); 2. Patients are 18 years of age or older at the time of enrollment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with treatment prior to admission with an agent used in SUP for an UGI bleed, reflux disease, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, or MALT lymphoma, peptic ulcer disease; 2. Patients withdrawal from active therapy or brain death: patients where withdrawal or brain death is documented in the patient charts;
