Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. This episode met the diagnostic criteria of DSM-V major depression; 2. First or recurrence without medication; 3. Hamilton depression rating scale HAMD-17 total score >= 17; 4. Han Chinese, right-handed; 5. Junior high school education or above; 6. Aged 18 to 45 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Received antidepressant or other psychiatric medication, or other antidepressant treatment such as transcranial magnetic stimulation and electroconvulsive therapy; 2. Comorbidity or having been diagnosed with other mental disorders, or a first-degree relative with a history of mental disorders; 3. Secondary mental disorders caused by drugs or organic factors; 4. Have a history of major neurological diseases (such as epilepsy, stroke, etc.), major physical diseases (such as heart disease, hypertension, liver disease, etc.), and endocrine diseases (such as diabetes, etc.); 5. A history of alcohol or drug abuse or dependence; 6. MRI contraindication (e.g. metal implants, claustrophobia, etc.).
