Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. meet the diagnosis of sepsis; 2. aged >= 18 years; 3. barthel index >= 70; 4. more than 1 week of invasive mechanical ventilation; 5. patients or their families voluntarily sign informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. dysfunction in peripheral active nervous system; 2. disorder of limb movement; 3. increasing of intracranial pressure or occurrence of acute arrhythmias; 4. pregnancy; 5. active bleeding.
