Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients with a definite diagnosis of benign gallbladder diseases after examination of ultrasound, computed tomography (CT) or nuclear magnetic resonance (MRI), combined with their meidcal history.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. acute cholecystitis, pancreatitis, angiocholitis and choledocholithiasis; 2. patients who underwent gallbladder puncture and drainage and the drainage tube has not been pulled out; 3. patients with basic diseases like myocardial or pulmonary diseases, who are unsuitable for surgery; 4. patients with a score >=2 in American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) score system.
