Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. young children aged<3 years who accepted echocardiography at our hospital between May 2016 and August 2017; 2. the children who underwent intranasal sedation with a combination of dexmedetomidine (2 ug/kg) and ketamine (1 mg/kg).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. incomplete data; 2. the drug did not drop into the nostrils completely whilst administering sedation.
