18 Years to 40 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Labouring women aged from 18 to 40 years old, greater than 37 weeks gestation, singleton pregnancy, and confirmed to be in established labour (>3 cm dilatation with regular uterine contractions).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pre-eclampsia, hypertensive disorder of pregnancy, pre-existing immune dysfunction, known infection or pyrexia, current antibiotic prescription, and NSAID use
