Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with acute myocardial infarction including ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) and non-ST elevation myocardial infarction (Non-STEMI) within 24h after onset.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The patients with a history of recent surgery or trauma within the preceding 1 months and those with hematologic diseases, malignant tumors, febrile disorders, severe renal failure and hepatic dysfunction, acute or chronic inflammatory disease on study entry were excluded. Besides, patients with AMI onset = 24 hours were not enrolled either in this study.
