Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. born biologically male; 2. aged at least 18 years; 3. HIV-negative; 4. had oral or anal sex with men in the previous 6 months; 5. no HIV testing in the past 3 months; 6. willing to provide their telephone number and address (for follow-up and sending of HIVST kits); 7. willing to accept HIVST kits; 8. willing to feedback truthful information on sexual behavior and HIV testing; 9. willing to accept consultation before and after HIVST and links to HIV care.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. are participating in other research projects; 2. unable to speak or read the Chinese language; 3. unable to complete the online questionnaire using a mobile telephone; 4. cannot provide written informed consent.
