Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Machine learning group: The results of multimodal presurgical localization of epileptogenic zone of patients with known epileptogenic zone and postsurgical outcomes in the department of functional neurosurgery, Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University were analyzed by large data machine learning. Inclusion criteria: (1) Epilepsy patients who underwent resection of epileptogenic zone in department of functional neurosurgery were discussed through consultation with Beijing Epilepsy Diagnosis and Treatment Center; (2) Patients with Engel's grade I-II were followed up one year after resective surgery without obvious neurological deficits or positive neurological signs; (3) The database contains all the results of MEG, intracranial electroencephalogram and PET of localizing epileptogenic zone; (4) Postoperative pathological findings included focal cortical dysplasia (FCD), hippocampal sclerosis, tuberous sclerosis complex and benign tumors. 2. Artificial intelligent diagnostic verification group: To evaluate the patients who met the indications of refractory epilepsy surgery after multi-disciplinary discussion in Beijing Epilepsy Diagnosis and Treatment Center. To investigate the location of epileptogenic zone by using artificial intelligent diagnostic technology for patients whoes epileptogenic zone could not be localized by conventional methods. Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients with drug-resistant epilepsy who were negative on conventional magnetic resonance scanning; (2) During the consultation and discussion in the epilepsy diagnosis and treatment center of our hospital, all three localization examinations of epileptogenic zone including MEG, intracranial EEG and PET were performed.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Machine learning group: Exclusion criteria: (1) Those who had failed epilepsy surgery in the past, came to our hospital for second operation; (2) Epilepsy patients after brain trauma. 2. Artificial intelligent diagnostic verification group: Exclusion criteria: (1) Epilepsy consultation was conducted to discuss patients who did not undergo resection of epileptogenic zone through various localization examinations of epileptogenic zone; (2) Postoperative pathological findings were not one of focal cortical dysplasia (FCD), hippocampal sclerosis, tuberous sclerosis complex and benign tumors; (3) Patients with followed up results Engel's grade III-IV one year after surgery.
