Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 90 patients with gynecological disease aged 40 to 60 years, American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I or II, were recruited for elective gynecological surgery (Hysterectomy) from the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients were excluded from the study if they had a disease of the central nervous system, respiratory system or circulatory system; were dignosed with psychotic disorder; had a score on the mini-mental state examination (MMSE) of 23 or less; were rated 3 or more with VAS for pain after analgesia; were unwilling to comply with the protocol or procedures or were unable to understand the language used.
