Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Aged under 65 years; 2) ASA I-III; 3) Essential hypertension patients scheduled for elective surgery; 4) Accept to participate in this study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Emergency surgery; 2) Simultaneous gastrointestinal surgery; 3) Anemia; 4) Preoperative chemotherapy or radiotherapy; 5) Neurological, cognitive or psychiatric disorders, including stroke, dementia, and schizophrenia with speech disorders, or any condition that makes meaningful post-operative visits impossible. 6) Cardiovascular diseases: low-output heart failure with preoperative left ventricular ejection fraction less than 30%, active coronary artery disease, severe cardiac valve disease with shortness of breath, symptomatic arrhythmia, pacemaker arrhythmia or AICD placement. 7) Pulmonary diseases: COPD needs home oxygen therapy, severe asthma needs steroid therapy or can not control steroids, and other lung diseases need home oxygen therapy. 8) Severe liver dysfunction (Child Pugh Class C and above). 9) Severe renal dysfunction (requiring renal replacement therapy). 10) Severe skeletal muscle diseases, such as muscle atrophy. 11) Skin disease and intolerance of noninvasive electrodes. 12) History of smoking.
