Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Tumor diameter <=5 mm (diameter <=1 cm for tumors whose surrounding tissues are not close to the capsule), and the distance between nodules and posterior medial capsule are more than 2 mm; (2) Patients are willing to take surgeries and follow-up visits after being fully informed.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Contraindications should meet one of the following conditions: (1) metastasis is found in the cervical region or distance part; (2) the tumor is progressively increased in a short period of time (increased more than 3 mm in 6 months); (3) pathological high-risk subtype (high cell subtype, columnar cell subtype, diffuse sclerosis, solid/island type, eosinophilic subtype); (4) lesions contralateral vocal cord appears dysfunction; (5) there is severe blood coagulation disorder; (6) dysfunction of important organs; (7) the thyroid capsule is invaded or surrounding tissues are invaded; (8) the lesion is located in the isthmus; (9) multifocal thyroid cancer; (10) with family history of thyroid cancer; (11) with history of cervical radiation exposure in adolescent period or childhood.
