40 Years to 100 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients of age 40 years or more with AECOPD emergency treatment or hospitalization; 2. Obtaining peripheral blood routine for the first time before receive system hormone therapy (prednisone > 0.5 mg/kg) or equivalent hormone.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The main therapeutic purpose has nothing to do with AECOPD; 2. Previous diagnosed of asthma or asthma - copd overlap; 3. There are other diseases inducing rise and fall of eosinophils (allergic diseases, parasitic infections, eosinophils pneumonia, etc.) or state; 4. There are other organs or systems of severe dysfunction or malignant tumor.
