Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Thirty-five patients underwent elective gynecological laparoscopic surgery, ASA grade I to II, aged 65 to 80 years, and BMI 18 to 30 kg/m2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Diabetes, arrhythmias, neurological diseases, endocrine disorders (thyroid or adrenaldiseases), taking drugs that affect the autonomic nervous system (including ß blockers, atropine, and cardiac glycosides)
