18 Years to 84 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) palatal defect patients treated with maxillary obturators; (2) patients with palatal obturators for 1 month or longer; (3) patients with excellent compliance; (4) patients who could communicate using Mandarin Chinese without problems, and (5) patients who signed an informed consent and volunteered to enroll in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) patients with temporomandibular joint diseases or mental disorders; (2) patients with acute upper respiratory tract infection; (3) patients with complete denture prosthodontics.
