Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Chronic Synovitis of the Knee

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: We excluded knees with severe osteoarthritis (Kellgren-Lawrence rating >3), those with arthroscopic findings of severe cartilage damage (Outerbridge rating >3), those with synovitis associated with acute suppurative infection of the joint, and those with diseased synovium infiltrating through the joint to the posterior area and requiring a posterior open incision.
