Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Aged 16 years and above, male or female; 2 Inpatients; 3 Comply with diagnostic criteria of IM, meet the first 2 items and any of the last 2 items (1) Clinical manifestations, including fever, angina, superficial lymphadenopathy, rash, liver, splenomegaly and abnormal liver function; (2) Atypical lymphocytes = 10% or lymphocyte ratio (LY%) = 50%; (3) Positive heterophile antibody; (4) Positive EBV capsid antigen IgM antibody (EBV-VCA-IgM) or EBV DNA. 4 Checked serum EBV DNA and lymphocytes EBV DNA after admission.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Significant immune deficiency such as tumors, autoimmune diseases, and AIDS.
