Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients admitted to the Department of Critical Care Medicine of Jiangsu Province Hospital of Chinese Medicine due to septic shock, regardless of the cause of septic shock and whether requiring mechanical ventilation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Aged 90 years; combined with cardiogenic or hypovolemic shock; metabolic acidosis; hospitalization time <24h; pregnant, lactating women; end stage of chronic disease; due to intellectual or behavioral disorders failure to give sufficient informed consent or to authorize the donor to refuse to participate in the study.
