Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Case group: 1. Aged =18 years (no upper limit); 2. Acute ischemic stroke within 14 days of symptoms onset; 3. No significant pre-onset disability (pre-onset mRS =2) 4. Informed consent provided; Control group: Age- and gender-matched healthy controls or non-cerebrovascular patients with risk factors such as hypertension and diabetes.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Case group: 1. Diagnosis of hemorrhage or other pathological brain diseases based on brain CT or MRI; 2. With malignant neoplasms or severe multiple organ failure whose expected survival time is less than 3 months. Control group: Complicated with symptomatic or asymptomatic stroke.
