Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients aged 40-80 years; 2) Patients with adenoma after polypectomy and without recurrence; 3) The patient participates voluntarily and signs an informed consent form;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with diabetes (taking diabetes medicine or HbA1c>6.5%); 2) Patients who regularly take aspirin or NSAIDs or COX2 inhibitors, or calcium or vitamin D; 3) Patients with a history of gastrointestinal surgery; 4) Patients with other malignant tumors; 5) Patients with severe liver and kidney function and cardiac insufficiency; 6) Patients with Familial Adenomatous Polyposis; 7) Patients with Hereditary non-polyposis colorectal cancer; 8) PAtients with Inflammatory bowel disease 9) patients who are pregnant or breast-feeding, or patients who are pregnant; 10) Patients who are intolerant to metformin; 11) Patients who cannot tolerate colonoscopy; 12) Patients with mental illness; 13) Staff in this clilical trial; 14) Poor bowel preparation for colonoscopy or the examination time is shorter than 6 minutes; 11) Other patients who are not suitable.
